Since 2007 we’ve been working so that learning a language becomes a real experience: authentic conversations, cultural events and an international community that makes speaking flow naturally.
Since 2007, Políglota has been dedicated to promoting, valuing and teaching Spanish as a foreign language in Paraguay.
In 2013 we received Instituto Cervantes’ accreditation to
administer the international Spanish exams, DELE – Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language.
In 2016 we also began administering the SIELE exam –
International Spanish Language Assessment Service.
In 2017, just ten years after its founding, Políglota became a
founding member of Paraguay’s Network of Cultural Centers and Spaces.
In March 2026, El Políglota Cultural Center was declared a
Project of Cultural Interest by the National Secretariat of
Culture through Resolution SNC No. 776/2019.
Today we are a center for teaching Spanish and Paraguayan culture.

DIRECTOR AND TEACHER
Founder and director of Políglota, she also currently teaches Spanish and Portuguese at the institution. Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Literature, is a certified DELE examiner, holds a University Diploma in Cultural Management, a Master’s course in Cultural Management and is enrolled in Translation and Interpretation studies. She is also a certified sworn translator,
accredited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, for all levels of the Official Spanish Exam. Author of the textbook “Español y Cultura Paraguaya” – levels A1/A2.
TEACHER
Spanish teacher with 15 years of experience teaching in-person and virtual classes.
Bachelor’s Degree in Guaraní from the Guaraní Language and Culture Athenaeum, Master’s Degree in Guaraní. Certified DELE examiner for all Spanish levels.

Working since 2007 as a member of the teaching staff of Políglota. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Literature from the National University of Asunción, is a DELE and SIELE examiner from Instituto Cervantes, and a certified teacher of Spanish as a Foreign Language from the Guaraní Athenaeum.

Teacher of Basic Education from the “Ntra. Sra. de la Asunción” Institute, licensed to teach Spanish and Guaraní Language and Literature from the National University of Asunción. Coordinator of creative writing and reading workshops during her time at Editorial Servilibro Paraguay. Spanish teacher and coordinator for oral DELE exams at levels B1 and B2. Author of literacy books.

Teaches Spanish and Portuguese as second languages at Políglota. Bachelor’s Degree in Literature from Universidad Anhembi Morumbi – São Paulo. Certified examiner accredited by Instituto Cervantes for the Spanish exams – DELE. Also certified as an examiner by
the National Institute of Foreign Studies and Foreign Language Teaching (INEF) for the Celpe-Bras Exam. Postgraduate studies in Teaching for Higher Education (Latu Sensu) and Psychopedagogy and Neuroscience (Latu Sensu), both completed at Universidade Paulista – São Paulo, Brazil.
