Políglota is a cultural center for teaching, valuing and
promoting the languages and cultures of Paraguay. Paraguay is a bilingual country and a unique place where Guaraní and Spanish cultures merge, giving rise to a rich and singular identity we call Paraguayan culture.
The Paraguayan cultural calendar, pan-Hispanic literature and cultural outings are built into our Spanish classes.
Craft workshops (Ñandutí, Ao Po'i, Encaje Ju), harp classes and Paraguayan cuisine are offered as independent activities.
More than learning the language, you discover the history, art and gastronomy of a unique country in the world.

Paraguayan Cultural Calendar: Historical and patron saint
festivities, intangible cultural heritage and folk celebrations.
Live real Paraguay throughout the year.
Cultural Outings: Visits to museums, monuments, churches,
historic sites, theaters, traditional cafés and craft shops.
Pan-Hispanic Literature: Magical realism, historical novels,
essays, poetry and folk tales from Paraguay, Latin America and Spain.
Craft Workshops: Ñandutí, Ao Po’i and Encaje Ju. The three most
representative techniques of Paraguayan craftsmanship, with their
history and tradition.
Paraguayan Harp Classes: Paraguay’s symbolic instrument, born
from the fusion of European and Guaraní cultures. Classes for all levels.
Paraguayan Cuisine: Chipa, sopa paraguaya, mbejú, vorí vorí and
more. Paraguayan cooking rooted in its original ingredients:
corn and cassava.
*Classes related to the Paraguayan cultural calendar and pan-Hispanic literature, as well as cultural outings, are included in our regular language courses.
